Happy Birthday Ezzy!

This is the beginning of the rest of your life. The last 24 years have been a preparation for you to start receiving the vast promises of God.

Heart of a KING
Heart of a WARRIOR
Heart of a MENTOR
Heart of a FRIEND

I'm so excited to have been given the privilege of having a front-row seat to witness your growing into the man He's always seen in you.

Love always,
Sue

Dating Dilemmas

Slightly more than a year ago, Esmond and I found ourselves trapped in the craziness of both our schedules that if left untamed, threatened to dominate both our lives. Given that the both of us are terrible time-managers and have great difficulty saying 'no' to everyone else, we decided to set a specific night each week - reserved specially for us.

It was tough at first making our 'date-night' a priority...but after a slightly rocky start, 'date-night' quickly became a prominent feature in our lives and our schedules. It's a night I've always looked forward to because it's my weekly avenue to let loose and be my plain, old, ecentric self, enjoying some quality time with my lovely
can of baked beans.

Lately however, 'date-night' seems to be suffering from a slow and painful death. With the unpredictability of my work schedule and a whole slew of meetings and appointments that seem to be yelling for our attention, 'date-night' has been put on the backburner.

I refuse to say good-bye to our specially reserved time together...we hardly have any other time together as it is. But if we continue to compromise on this one night, then I will grudgingly have to admit defeat and mourn the passing of our treasured 'date-night'.

'D' is for Doughnut!

The last (almost) 3 years have been eventful, to say the least. I've learnt so much about Ezzo (my baked bean!), myself, but more importantly, I've learnt so much about the meaning of 'us'.

It's a bit of a daunting task to realise that what we do individually represent us as a couple. Eeks!

Well then, here's my visual representation of 'us'; Es and Sue, Sue and Es.

No interpretation neccessary.
